Artifex Consort has maintained a longstanding relationship with Voices of Music, one of the premiere early music ensembles in the country. Voices of Music is dedicated to producing high quality videos of repertoire from 1800 and earlier to increase general access and exposure to the world of early music.
Artifex Consort's own Eva Lymenstull, winner of the 2017 Voices of Music International Bach Competition, performs the complete Cello Suite on an original, anonymous English cello ca. 1730, restored by Guust Francois in Amsterdam.
Artifex Consorts other Co-Founder, Malachai Bandy, performs on the shawm, a double-reed instrument that gained popularity in 12th- and 13th-century Europe.
